Tuesday- Day 2

Erik and Kelly,

Dottie has had a good day in Preschool B! Dottie came over a bit earlier today, we wanted to give her some time to ease into our routine before we went outside. She had a few tears but once she decided to join our small groups, Dottie continued to have a successful day! Dottie joined our class for Playball and had a great time. (I snagged a few photos for you!) After Playball we made our mats, read a story, and had lunch! Dottie is currently asleep for naptime.

We will ask Dottie if she’d like to return to EPA after snack and if she chooses to stay with us we will reach out to you both so you’ll know she stayed here.

Looking forward to another successful day tomorrow! J

my sensitive little girl

You were moved up to Preschool B today and this transition will take some time for you. Kip, your teacher, wrote the following note. I love you Deutzy Doo!!

Hi Kelly and Erik,

Dottie’s first day in Preschool B has had some ups and downs, but overall we feel she is doing well! Dottie came over with Cassandra and was a bit hesitant at first but our friends were very welcoming! Dottie decided to join us for our story time and then we went outside. When we came back in, Dottie got a bit sad and sat with Christine for a bit to ease herself into our routine and  once she calmed herself, she joined us for lunch and then fell asleep for nap time. We’re excited to have Dottie with us and once she wakes up and has snack, we will ask her if she’d like to go back to EPA. If Dottie decides to stay with us we’ll give a heads up but we think she’ll want to go back to EPA today which is totally fine. J

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out and we’re excited to continue the transition tomorrow!

Hello,
I'm wondering how Dottie did today? She gets shy and scared with new things so hoping she wasn't too upset?
Thanks,

Kelly
