Mommy away
I have been in Amsterdam and Oxford this week and here is a little correspondence between daddy and I- you girls are so lucky to have him as your dad: )
Wow! You are super dad indeed!!! Let me know what Kathryn says about our finances. Maybe we can rent the condo and buy something in magnolia soon...

Yes, we went to the aquarium and they were well behaved and each got a snuggle toy. On the walk back to the car however, Dottie fell off a beam and bonked her head but she was fine once a dog owner stopped and let her pet him. We then went to the park in Magnolia and played on the swings and jungle jim for about an hour then went to Discovery Park to look for bunnies and take a long walk. On the walk back to the car Dottie was so tired she wanted me to carry her and she fell asleep in my arms. Hazel by that time was exhausted too and was able to get them both in bed just in time for GOT. Looks like it will be another interesting season!

Did you get what you needed?

Hi,
Can you send me the contact info or the install instructions for the chandelier?
Sent from my iPhone
You.
How should I describe you now.
Well, you are the best 18 month old a mommy could hoe for. You remain the worlds best hunger and when you are happy you smile brightly and have a contagious little laugh. You like to play games with us including hide and seek from your carseat and are silly and like to dance.
On the other hand, you have been getting more and more frustrated and you have no patience so when you don't get your way you throw a fit and yell. Fun. Daddy and I try to stay patient with you but you make it difficult sometimes!
You are turning into a mummy's girl and seek me out for comfort and play. I love snuggling with your little body close to mine. In fact I'm missing you pretty greatly as I sit on a bus returning home from Oxford.
You are a wonderful sister to hazel- you offer up huge and sweet kisses but you aren't afraid to show hazel when you are upset by hitting or pushing her ( bad Dottie!). But usually, and more and more, you both enjoy each others company and you really want to do everything that hazel is doing, especially if it means watching little Einsteins.
Let's see, what else?
You are a talker- you can mimic almost every word we say if we prompt you. It may not be fully cogent but you are so eager to communicate. Of course your favorite word is 'no' and we hear it often. Dottie- would you like some milk? You: no. Dottie - would you like me to read a book? You: no. Dottie- would you like a a plate of cookies? You: no.
What a kidder you are.

These are some of your greatest hits.
And what about things you love?
Books, especially knuffle bunny, the bear snores on, best mouse cookie, big hungry bear
Little Einsteins (probably a small obsession)
Your coat and shoes (wearing them)
Being outside
Running around the house naked
Music and dancing
Cleaning (usually the milk that you purposefully spilled)
Hugging your soft toys
And what do I love so much about you?
Simply put, everything but I especially love seeing you standing in your crib with one arm wrapped around your red puppy and the other arm reaching for a hug. Don't ever stop hugging me sweet Dottie Lou.
