better late than never: 9 months old

new shoes for Dottie!

yesterday after getting back from Whidbey we took you to Nordstrom to get fitted for your new shoes- a solid size 4! We tried on a few pairs and finally found ones that looked cute and fit your little fred flintstone toes. You are so close to walking - you took one step this last weekend and are really close to walking. I bet you'll be there in no time. Next Tuesday you transition into the toddler room with Chanel and it was asked that we get shoes for you. What a big girl.
Not only do you now officially wear shoes but you also do the following tricks:
- eat at a table at school
- eat food beyond melt-aways
- clap hands
- wave
- dance like a flash dancer
- give the biggest and best hugs around
- grab iphones, ipads, anything electronic
- play with your sister (when I just asked her what she loved most about you she replied "tickling her!")

Your Michigan relatives visit!

Grandma and grandpa Anderson came to visit and stayed at our Whidbey house for 3 weeks. In the middle of their time the rest of the Michigan family came including Inger, John, Ilieana and William and Kirsten, Billy and Olivia. You had fun with you cousins.

We went boating, went to the pool and got lots of cuddle time with everyone. Olivia and Illeana loved carrying you in the baby bjorn and taking you for walks.

The time went by so fast and you loved having everyone around.

10 month old you!

You are so close to walking- you crib walk and stand for long seconds at a time. You are eating like a fiend enjoying  avocado, bananas, pasta, crackers, puffs, yogurt, etc!! Who knew! You also love drinking water from a dippy cup.

Your little hair us growing ever so slowly - and adorably! 

I just love you so much my sweet baby girl.
