Christmas 2014
It was a different kind of Christmas but a wonderful one at that. This was my first Christmas that I didn't spend with grams and papa and I hope next year we are together with them. I missed them!! We were very fortunate that Jon and Mark joined us from the 23rd until Christmas Day afternoon. We made meatballs, lefse, lots of good food including more Christmas cookies for Santa and had a wonderful time overall. You kids were so good and hazel was super excited about what Santa might be bringing the family. Hazel wanted a wagon and I think Dottie wanted a puppy. He brought all sorta of fun things including new bikes for each of you, a blue wagon with a door, scooters from grandma sallee and grandpa tom and lots of other fun toys and my little pony ponies. We'll be on Whidbey all week until New Year's Day. I love you gis so much and thank my stars that I get to spend my days with you and daddy. Xoxo

What we did: Today we learned about lots of different

Dottie @ 2
You are such a funny, silly and smart girl:
- you talk a lot and love to use new words
- you like to ask " what happened mommy?" or "why?"
- you are trying to use the potty chair though we haven't mastered it yet
- you LOVE being in your pajamas
- you love books and your iPad even more
- you are a big fan of paw patrol
- you love to be near your daddy and hazel
- you love little animals and toys (miniature like) and will carry them around day and night (a puppy, giraffe, etc)
- you still don't sleep well and get up at least once a night (ugghh)
- you are goofy and love to play jokes on us!
tummy bug
Hazel had it last week and now you have the stomach bug- throwing up and so very sleepy. Poor thing, all you want is some milk or water but when you take a few sips it comes right up. Our bed is ruined and the sheets and pillows have all been washed at least once. You started taking anti-nausea medicine and it seems to be working (fingers crossed). Hope you'll be on the mend soon sweet girl. xoxo

Picking the perfect pumpkin
It was wet. Rainy. Muddy. We rode a trolley, picked out pumpkins. And them the clouds parted and there was sun. Daddy was running the boat into oak harbor to get gas.
